Boarding at Flintrock Stables has been the right choice for our family, our daughter Hannah and her horse. When Hannah recently left to attend college out of state, we all agreed that our time at Flintrock was an absolutely wonderful experience.
The large indoor and outdoor arenas are perfectly suited for training and exercise and are well maintained. Our trainer Scott worked very thoroughly and patiently with Hannah at her own level to become a more complete rider and to understand and get the most from her horse. As parents we always felt safe leaving her in the hands of the trainers, and both horse and rider were well prepared for their show events. She learned so much and became so confident in her abilities! She spent a lot of her free time caring for and bonding with her horse. Sure beats spending time at the mall!
The stalls were always well maintained with clean bedding and water. We always felt our horse was being looked after carefully with a well managed nutrition and supplement program. There is plenty of pasture and turn-out space.
We appreciated the clean feed and tack rooms with plenty of personal storage space. The upstairs viewing area was a comfortable place to relax and watch Hannah take lessons. Even if the weather is bad you are always cozy.
If we started over tomorrow we would certainly make the same decision. Flintrock is a beautiful facility with a very friendly and supportive group of boarders. We thank Dan for being committed to maintaining and growing an important program.
