Flintrock Stables Summer Horse Day Camps 2024
Our one-day themed summer equine day camps are where campers will be involved in unique programming designed to meet the needs of each child’s horsemanship abilities and skill level. Camps will begin with chores, horse check ins and group opening experiences. Campers will participate in a variety of age and skill appropriate horse-related experiences to increase knowledge, skills, and to have fun. Each day will wrap up with lunch, closing experiences, and a final check on the well being of our horses and ponies.
2024 SUMMER CAMPS run 9:15-2pm with registration starting at 9.
All camps are designed for ages 6-14.
$125/student/day.
Full payment for each camp day is needed to hold your spot.
Dates:
Friday, June 21 - Begin and Believe - For first time or beginner riders. Learn about horse basics including brushing, leading, and interacting with horses. Time will be spent learning basic horsemanship and horse care, learning about tack, tacking up, riding, and more.
Friday, June 28 - Crafts and Color - Are you a creative kid? If so, this is your opportunity to use that creativity with the horses! Create a horse related craft and artwork, paint a horse, spend time brushing and braiding manes and tails and more!
Friday, July 12 - Horsin’ Around - For students who can at least walk/trot unassisted. A chance to let loose and have fun with the horses! Games in and out of the saddle, obstacle courses and more. Come and have a great day playing with the ponies!
Friday, July 19 - Begin and Believe II - For first time or beginner riders. Learn about horse basics including brushing, leading, and interacting with horses. Time will be spent learning about basic horsemanship, horse care, tacking up, basic riding, and more.
Friday, August 2 - Wet and Wild - Water play day! Get ready to get wet! Water games both in and out of the saddle, with and without the horses. Water based chores, bathing horses, and other water based play will round out the day!
Friday, August 9 - Painted Rhythms - Another day for creative kids! Come and use music and art both in and out of the saddle to have fun and express yourself with some of your favorite pony friends!

Cost:
Each one-day session is $125 per child. Full payment is due at registration.

Riding Helmet (Can be provided)

Cold Drink in Cooler

How to Register:
Registering for camp is a 4 step process. Please complete the following process for each camper:
Step #1 - Complete the digital registration form below. (You will be directed to the other steps after clicking “Submit”.)
Step #2 - Complete liability release form electronically.
Step #3 - Complete medical form electronically.
Step #4 - Submit your payment via credit card through Square.
